How much does a Moving Mountains Party cost?
At Moving Mountains we believe in keeping pricing simple. Our parties cost £160 for up to 12 child, with extra participants being charged at £15/head.
How many guests can we bring?
Each party can cater for up to a maximum of 18 children (including siblings over the age of 4). We ask that at least 1 adult per 12 children remains with the group for the whole time. If you would like to bring more children than this, we can arrange this but suggest a longer party time combining 2 activities. Please get in touch to discuss details.
What are the age limits?
Party guests must be aged over 6 to take part. The exception is younger siblings of the birthday child, who may take part subject to prior arrangement.
Children under 4 are not able to participate and must remain under the control of parents at all times.
The upper age limit for participants at a childrens birthday party is 17
Are toilet facilities provided?
Basic toilet facilities are available on site
Is there parking?
There is ample parking on site. Directions will be sent out with your downloadable invite. The car park is a 2 minute walk from the activity field. Disabled parking is available on the activity field. We have plenty of space for coaches and minibuses.
How many groups will be on site?
We only run 1 party at at time on site

Is a cake provided?
We are unable to provide Birthday Cakes. However, you are welcome to bring your own cake to eat around the campfire, and we can provide a lighter for candles, and a knife.
Can you cater for dietary requirements
We are able to cater for a dietary requirements – but we do need to be informed of such requirements at least 7 days in advance.
What if it rains?
We are able to run activities in the rain, and have a sheltered mess tent area which can be used to eat and drink if necessary.
What should the children wear?
A kit list will be provided with the downloadable invite.
We have a venue, can you come to us?
We are always happy to hold parties at other venues, as long as we are able to safely run the activity there. Our space requirements are:
- Archery – see range requirements
- Bushcraft – outdoor area where we can light fires (we can bring mobile fire pits but cannot guarantee these will completely protect the ground underneath
- Orienteering – due to the time taken to design and set up a course, orienteering parties can currently only be held at Basecamp or at Cleeve Hill Scout Campsite.
