This page will be updated as and when necessary. Last Updated 02/04/2020

Don’t forget to try out some of our FREE “Try at Home” activities, which will be released regularly over the coming days and weeks.

Covid 19 Policy

In line with Government instructions, we are now closed until at least April 14th 2020 (and potentially longer) due to the coronavirus outbreak. We will be removing all activities until the end of April from our booking diary for now, and will review further activities in due course.

Our booking office remains open with staff working from home to process bookings and advise customers. Please be advised that there might be a slight delay in getting back to you.

Please do continue to book on to future activites. Small businesses such as ourselves are reliant on future custom in order to still exist after the current situation has passed. We will be extending the dates available in our booking diary. Please rest assured that we will offer complete flexibility with rescheduling on any future bookings.

Below are specific details for each of our main on site activities. Due to limited washing up facilities on site we will not be offering tea and coffee to customers on arrival.

All bushcraft courses until the end of April are currently postponed.

All archery sessions until the end of April are currently postponed.

The orienteering course remains closed until further notice. We anticipate being able to reopen the orienteering course as soon as the government relaxes its restrictions on business opening and movements, and we know people will be looking forward to getting out and about.

Our axe throwing range opening has been delayed until the end of April. The range is set up ready to go as soon as we are able to reopen.

Our mobile activities are still available to book for your parties and events. Bookings for 2021 can also currently be made at 2020 prices.

If you have booked parties or events either on site or using our mobile activities, these may be rescheduled at no extra cost to any date within 2020 or 2021. We understand this is a difficult time for event organisers so are happy to be as flexible as possible with future dates. We are unable to honour any bookings until the government relaxes the current lockdown conditions – unfortunately this is a circumstance outside of our control.

Our Easter Egg Hunt event on the 11th April, and our Educators Day on 20th April are both postponed.

We are aware that many people will have gift vouchers from 3rd party sites (e.g. Groupon, Wowcher, Living Social, Expeirence Days, Buyagift) which often have short expiry days. We encourage you to exchange these for our own gift vouchers which are valid for 12 months. Please email or call 0117 4057399

We continue to sell our own gift vouchers which are valid for 12 months.

Due to the current government-enforced lockdown, our site is closed until at least April 14th. We will be contacting you shortly to rearrange your booking or offer you a voucher.

It is impossible to say for sure how long the current lockdown will last, or what will follow it. We are located in a rural area, in a county with a small number of cases, and we remain hopeful that the lockdown will be relaxed sooner rather than later.

From our side we will honour all existing bookings (both on site and mobile) unless

  • The government prevents us from doing so due to lockdown or prohibition of trading.
  • Illness or self isolation result in us having insufficient staff available to run activities.

If you have any queries, please dont hesitate to get in touch – or 0117 4057399

Please note that we are operating on significantly reduced staffing at present, so there may be a delay in responding to enquiries. Emails and voicemails are picked up at least every 48 hours.
