20160624_142553Whilst survival skills are designed to allow someone to survive, short term, in the wilderness, Bushcraft takes these skills one step further, allowing an individual to live comfortably, for a longer period of time, without many of the modern services and facilities that we take for granted.

During our Bushcraft Experience Day, students will use minimal tools and resources to prepare and cook a meal on an open fire. They will learn how to use axes and knives to prepare wood, how to light and tend to a fire, how to prepare food with limited utensils and how to cook over an open fire.

Depending on the time available and the age group, the menu chosen may be something fairly simple, or may be as complicated as gutting and preparing fish or rabbits.
